Farewell To James
One of our longtime members, James McKinney, lost his battle with pancreatic cancer early on November 16th. James was a great friend and a steady companion on many of our rides. We will miss our dear friend. Donations may be made in his name to the Pancreatic Action Network at 1-877-272-6226 or http://pancan.org.
Visitation will be from 6pm-8pm on Tuesday, November 18th at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home at 7405 W Northwest Hwy. Funeral services will be at 1:30pm on Wednesday, November 19th at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, 9800 Preston Road with interment following at Sparkman-Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Tuesday/Thursday Seasonal Ride Changes
The GDB night rides have arrived. As of October 9th, the Tuesday and Thursday Night Rides will begin their annual winter schedule. The starting location is the parking lot at Forest and Central Expressway in front of Asian Mint (near Office Depot). The rides go down the White Rock Trail and around the lake and back. There is also a ride to downtown on Thursday nights leaving from the same location. Headlights and rear flashers (no naughty thoughts...) are necessary and mountain bikes and hybrid bikes are recommended, along with reflective clothing. Start time is 7pm.
GDB Ride Rules Reminder
-No earbuds or headphones (music or phone) and no boom boxes (but bring all the conversation you want!)
-No use of cellphones while riding (please pull off and stop to take or make a call)
-Use common sense if you have aerobars - please don't use them while in tight formations on group rides
-Helmets must be worn on all GDB rides
